Mintcap Brokers Private Limited having its registered office at Plot No 1290, Second Floor, 17th Cross, 5th Main, Sector-7, HSR Layout, Bangalore, Karnataka, India, 560102 (hereinafter referred as “We” or “we” or “Mintcap Brokers” or “Capmint” which expression means and includes its affiliates, subsidiaries, associates, group companies, successors and assigns) is registered with SEBI as Stock Broker (Registration No: INZ000322732) and as Depository Participant (Registration No: IN-DP-806-2025) of Central Depository Services Limited (“CDSL”): DP-ID 12102300. Mintcap Brokers is Trading and Self Clearing member of Bombay Stock Exchange (“BSE”) – Member Code 6903 and National Stock Exchange(“NSE”) – Member Code 90430, AMFI registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN:289109) and Category II Execution Only Platform (“EOP”) registered with BSE (EOP Code E6903).

Mintcap Brokers owns and operates the website bearing URL www.capmint.com; and the mobile application “Capmint” collectively referred as “Platform.”

“You,” “you, “Your”, “your” shall mean the “Client” or “User” or anyone who visits, accesses, or uses the Platform or obtains Services of Mintcap Brokers through the Platform.

In order to service you, Mintcap Brokers would need to collect information from you. Mintcap Brokers gathers various data points about you i.e. the information that can identify you. This data is termed as “Personal Information” and does not include data that is publicly available. This policy explains the types of information we collect from you, the reasons for collecting it, how it is used, who will receive it, and how we protect it.

“Authorized Partners” shall mean any third-party service providers, vendors, consultants, contractors, or affiliates engaged by Mintcap Brokers, whether directly or indirectly, for the purposes of facilitating, supporting, enhancing, or enabling the provision of services under this Policy, including but not limited to functions relating to operations, technology, security, infrastructure, customer support, and regulatory compliance, and who are contractually bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

“Client” shall mean any person or entity who has entered into an account-based relationship with Mintcap Brokers for availing its services.

“Personal Information” shall mean any data or information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, including but not limited to name, contact details (such as telephone number and email address), identification numbers, location data, financial information, or any other information which, either directly or indirectly, in combination with other available data, is capable of identifying such individuals.

1. Collection of information:

When you visit our Platform without being registered with us, we may gather information such as your IP address, the unique identifier of your device, geographical location, details about your operating system the pages you browse, the time spent on the Platform, browser plugins, system activity, hardware settings, request timestamps, referral URLs, and cookies that may uniquely identify your browser or mobile application. This data is used to better understand how you interact with our Platform and to improve the services we provide.

Upon initiating registration or providing your contact details, you are considered a “Data Principal” under the Applicable Laws. Mintcap Brokers collects the following information as a legal necessity under various Laws.

We read SMS to retrieve OTP sent by us during login or transaction related authentication.
• Financial Data: Such as income, expenses, net worth, and credit history.
• Images and Videos: Of documents or photos necessary for availing our products or services.
• Risk Profile and Investment Information: Including details about your investment preferences, beneficiaries, securities market experience, and nominees.
• Employment Information: Such as occupation, employer, designation, employment history, salary, and benefits, if applicable, which may be collected for credit evaluations, product assessments, or to comply with legal requirements, including the Prevention of Money Laundering (Maintenance of Records) Rules, 2005.
• Specimen Signature/Consent: For processing your instructions through our various payment modes.
• System Details : Including timestamps, IP address, geolocation information related to your interactions with the system, the unique identifier of your device, details about your operating system, the pages you browse, aggregate user data, the time spent on the platform, browser plugins, system activity, domain name of service provider, hardware settings, request timestamps, referral URLs, cookies etc
• Feedback and Survey Responses: Opinions or feedback you provide us with, including responses to surveys.

2. Usage of information:

Mintcap Brokers processes your information based on your consent or for “Legitimate Uses” as prescribed under Applicable Law & rules : 

• To fulfill obligations under SEBI, PMLA, and Tax laws, including KYC verification, Risk Profiling for AML/CFT monitoring.
• To fulfill its obligations in relation to the services provided.
• To manage and operate the website, platform, and its business.
• To address inquiries and complaints made by you/ others regarding the Platform.
• To improve its products and/or services, customize the Platform experience.
• To maintain the security of the Platform and to detect and prevent unauthorized use or fraudulent activity.
• To send SMS & email notifications requested by/ relevant to you.
• Offer you other products or services that may be of interest to you. (You have the option to opt-out of receiving such communication).
• Promotional campaigns, offers, contests, surveys etc.; (You have the option to opt-out of receiving such communication).
• To perform credit checks, background verification, screenings, or due diligence
• To fulfill the requirements of applicable laws.
• To comply with regulatory or legal requirements and conduct audits.
• For marketing, market research, and User profiling.

Your information may be shared with Group companies, affiliates, and authorized partners as part of our general business practices. Group Companies, affiliates, authorized partners are bound by the same standards of data security practices and procedures as Mintcap Brokers.

Your information may be shared with SEBI / Market Infrastructure Intermediaries (MIIs) / Asset Management Companies of Mutual Funds / Registrar and transfer Agents / Collecting Banks / KYC Registration Agencies (KRAs), CERSAI, banks etc. in order to enable Mintcap Brokers to provide/continue to provide the services through the Platform.

The Client is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the data provided. Mintcap Brokers shall process the information in good faith, relying on the declarations made by the Client. The Company shall not be liable for any regulatory non-compliance or financial loss arising from the provision of false, incomplete, or outdated information by the Client.

3. Storage and Protection of Information:

Mintcap Brokers has adopted and implemented appropriate security practices, procedures, and control measures to prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of information during storage and transmission, in accordance with industry-standard IT security best practices.

All data transmitted between your device and Mintcap Brokers’ servers is secured using industry-standard encryption protocols, which ensures secure communication channels and is typically indicated by a padlock icon in your web browser. The Company’s servers and data storage infrastructure are located within India.

While the Company implements reasonable security measures to protect your information, you acknowledge that transmission and storage over the internet involve inherent risks. Mintcap Brokers does not guarantee absolute security and shall not be liable for any unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss of data beyond its reasonable control.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and must promptly notify the Company of any unauthorized access or security breach.

Mintcap Brokers is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such external websites, and users are advised to review the respective privacy policies before providing any information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected through Mintcap Brokers’ Platform.
• Users may opt out of receiving non-essential communications, including promotional messages and updates regarding products or services. Users may also request that their Personal Information not be shared with third parties, subject to applicable legal and regulatory requirements. • If you wish to withdraw your consent or request deletion of your information from our Platform, you may do so by contacting us at support@capmint.com, please note that upon such withdrawal, you may no longer be able to access or avail the services provided by Mintcap Brokers.
